Sr. Device Engineer (08tech01)
Responsibilities:
-Development of advanced semiconductor devices based on principles of CMOS device physics and engineering.
-Characterization of semiconductor devices using manual and automatic testing equipment, including creation and debugging of test programs on multiple testing and software platforms.
-Development of new device technology characterization and modeling methodologies, reliability characterization, new test structure definition and implementation.
-Definition, planning, and analysis of experiments in collaboration with design, product and process engineers to optimize the process technology.
-Technology qualification, transfer to manufacturing, and yield improvement.
Requirements:
-PhD in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics or material science with minimum of 2 to 5 years industry experience, or MSEE/BSEE with minimum of 8 to 10 years industry experience.
-More experienced candidates will also be considered for higher seniority positions.
-Development of advanced semiconductor devices based on principles of CMOS device physics, design, and engineering.
-In-depth knowledge of advanced CMOS device and process technology.
-Direct hand-on experience in development and characterization of CMOS memory devices (non-volatile, DRAM or SRAM).
-Proficiency in use of parametric lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, semiconductor parameter analyzers, and pulse generators.
-Experience with SPICE circuit simulation and parameter extraction, CAD chip layout, Agilent VEE PRO software will be a definite plus.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, team player, ability to lead and work with cross functional teams highly desired.
Product Engineer (08eng001)
Responsibilities:
-Take technical lead in testchip characterization and qualification.
-Assist in test vehicle design and validation, design of experiments, data analysis and presentation.
-Design validation and characterization.
-Develop cycling and burn-in methodology and techniques.
-Provide feedback with manufacturing and device engineering.
-Drive (and participate in development of) Failure Analysis, assembly, mark, eventually resulting in production qualification.
Requirements:
-BSEE or MSEE with minimum 5 years experience in product engineering.
-Extensive experience in memory (flash, SRAM, or DRAM) development is a key requirement especially in the area of non-volatile memory.
-Understanding of basic device physics, CMOS circuit and logic design.
-Excellent data analysis skills. Statistical analysis experience using various software tools.
-Strong familiarity with IC testers (Nextest a plus), probers, and micro-probe stations. Experience with pico-probing a bonus.
-Proficient with bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, power-supplies, function generators.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Engineering Technician or Entry Level Engineer (08eng002)
Responsibilities:
-Data collection from complex CMOS testchips using ATE testers such as Nextest Maverick.
-Data collection via pico-probe and probe cards.
-Manage logistics around Failure Analysis, assembly, lab setup
-Implement and run existing data analysis procedures and feed results to engineering
-Participate in development of data collection and analysis procedures.
-Maintain engineering lab. Keeping equipment and items organized and readily available for engineering use
-Load board design, layout, and debug.
Requirements:
-Electronics degree with 5+ years experience in IC industry or BSEE with 0 to 1 year experience
-Excellent attention to detail. Ability to follow procedures.
-Good organizational skills and good data analysis skills
-Experience using parametric test equipment and ATE, probers, and micro-probe stations.
-Proficient with bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, power-supplies, function generators.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
