Marketing Communications Manager, Memory Products Division

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic design, implementation and management a range of communications strategies and programs to promote the value of Adesto’s non-volatile memory technologies. This will be achieved through a combination of tradeshows and events, press and industry trade analyst relations, social media, email marketing campaigns, and other programs.

Primary Responsibilities
– Develop strategic global communications plans and budgets for promoting Adesto’s Memory Products Division
– Press Releases: Draft and disseminate news releases about new memory products and technologies, customer wins, new partnerships and other related news
– Tradeshows and events: ensure Adesto has the right level of presence at industry events appropriate for Memory Products Division and work with other communications team members to manage logistics and promotions around global events
– Media/Analyst Relations: Together with PR agency, perform outreach to industry trade media and analysts around news announcements, pitch interviews and place articles
– Content: Develop program for content creation and dissemination including articles, whitepapers, videos, blogs; transform content to ensure easy sharing with social networks
– Website: Work with webmaster and teams across the Division to ensure web content is kept up-to-date and relevant; create, adapt, improve and optimize web communication for SEO and organic and keyword search
– Social Media: Develop/maintain social media profiles and quality content on Twitter, LinkedIn and other channels; develop other, relevant social media outlets to support and expand our digital presence
– Inbound marketing: Develop compelling custom content, design and deliver emails, craft email campaigns, and track results to drive future promotions
– Collateral: Working with Technical Documentation and Marketing, manage the overall portfolio of Adesto’s NVM related collateral for use by Sales, reps and distributors worldwide
– Conceive and manage other programs to help promote the memory business

Profile/Professional Skills:
– 5+ years’ experience in marketing communications or related area
– Excellent project and deadline management skills; attention to detail
– Superb copywriting and copyediting abilities
– Hands-on experience with inbound marketing systems, and familiarity with marketing automation practices
– 2-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing with a focus in content development and/or reporting, knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
– Expert knowledge in the latest in digital and social media technology and channels and how to best leverage for marketing programs as part of an overall social business strategy
– Ability to forge relationships with media and industry analysts
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite
– Strong working knowledge of Word Press, email campaign systems, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube; HTML a plus
– Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter
– College degree in marketing, communications and/or related areas
– Must be able to present portfolio of work, including writing and digital samples
